Terrafame to cheer Sotkamon Jymy in a charity game on 20 August

Terrafame will host the first quarter-final game of Sotkamon Jymy on 20 August 2017 at 3 p.m. Sotkamon Jymy plays in men’s top division of the Finnish native sport ‘pesäpallo’ (Finnish baseball). The home game at the Hiukka pesäpallo stadium will be a charity game, to which the public will have free entrance.

There will also be an exercise event for children by the field from 1 to 3 p.m. before the game starts. The event is organised in cooperation with the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare.

Terrafame has supported Sotkamon Jymy as long as the company has operated and is one of the main sponsors of the team. The company also offers its employees an opportunity to watch Jymy’s home games.

Sotkamon Jymy has won the Finnish championship in ‘pesäpallo’ 18 times. The team will be a strong contender in the quarter-finals.
